This is my Blog Debut!!!
Hi all! Welcome to my blog debut! Pull up a fruity drink and enjoy the party.
I'm AprilFae and I am a happily married, new mommy. My husband and I are the proud new parents to a 4 month-old beautiful baby daughter who we will call Bean. We also are mommy and daddy to 3 crazy doggies and 2 truly insane kitties.
I have a couple of sites that I try to maintain in between trying to maintain my daughter, husband, house and myself. The first site is called Pinkie's Shoppe. I have great plans in my mind for this site but right now, it is on the back burner for a short time. I am thinking of revamping it and selling jewelry on it. But we'll see. I have all of these great ideas swimming around in my head but actually finding the time AND the funds to make them a reality is not always so easy. My other site is a launching pad to all most of my affiliate links to other companies. I am a representative for each one of these companies and you can shop directly on the company websites. This site is called PinkieFae Shopping.
With this blog, I hope to share with you snapshots of my life and info on all my great companies. As always, if you have any questions about any of my companies, please feel free to email me.

My very own blog!!!
Hi everyone! I am new to blogging and this is my first ever blog. I am about to celebrate my first ever Mother's Day! Woo hoo!!! It was a LONG time coming and I am so grateful to God that I have my baby girl and that she is healthy. I hope I get something really corny for my first Mother's Day but know I'll be lucky to get a card from my husband. LOL He isn't a Hallmark fan and hates to give cards so I'm not holding my breath.
I want to wish all the other mommies out there - whether they are moms to 2 legged, 4 legged or no legged babies, it doesn't matter. If someone depends on you or if someone is your "baby", then you are a mommy and I hope you take a few minutes on Sunday to relax, realize what you have in your life and thank God for it.

About Me!
My name is Pinkie. Well, no, that's really not my name but that's my "bloggin' handle". I decided to start a blog because everyone was doing it. No...that's not true either.
I knew I would be horrible at keeping up my daughter's baby book. I am always sitting in front of a computer, (and I have the derriere to prove it), so I thought the best baby book I could do for her would be a blog. So there you have it.
Where did "Pinkie and the Bean" come from? I've been asked if it was a take off on Pinky and the Brain. To be honest, I had never heard of Pinky and the Brain until people started asking me that question. So I can safety tell you all that those cartooneys had no influence here. First, I didn't want to just throw our real names out there. I have a lot of fears and one of them is internet stalking. So I knew I had to come up with nicknames for us all. Everyone in my personal life that gets mentioned here on my blog gets a nickname or bloggin' handle as I like to call them. I picked Pinkie for me because well, it's not that hard...I like everything pink. Pink is my "signature color". (That is stolen from Steel Magnolias. Please don't sue me, Julia!) And when I first found out I was pregnant, I got tired of calling the baby "it", and the technical terms are all just too cold. No one wants to say "fetus" all day long. So I started calling her "Bean". In fact, we didn't officially decide on a name for Bean until she was about 12 hours old.
